The Lady Squires walked away after a heartbreaking loss to Northfield tonight 54-55. It was back and forth the whole game as both teams went on small runs but no team led by any more than 6 points. The Lady Squires had a small lead with a couple minutes left but Northfield battled back and took the one point lead with 2.2 seconds left. With the whole length of the court to go, the ladies executed their play and Emma Walker sunk the half court shot. What was first signaled as a good basket was overturned due to a "clock issue." Despite the loss, the ladies continued on to a fantastic poster signing night for our youth basketball players.
