Manchester Jr-Sr High School

The boys and girls swim teams fell to a pair of very strong Bluffton teams on Thursday night. The boys were led by Jet Thomas who had a pair of 2nd place finishes in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Gabe Selleck (200 freestyle) and Kai Elliott (100 breaststroke) also earned second place finishes for Manchester. The girls were led by Sophie Cumberland who finished first in the 100 butterfly and second in the 100 breaststroke. The girls 200 freestyle relay team of Cumberland, Jana Boladeres, Maggie Akins, and Laynen Delaughter also finished second. The Squires will travel to Maconaquah on Saturday to compete in the TRC championship meet.
