8th Grade vs Blackhawk Christian (26 - 49) Loss 8th Grade vs Northfield (32 - 18) Win The 8th grade Lady Squires played in the Whitko Tourney on Saturday morning. The first game was against Blackhawk Christian who came out firing away from 3-point land making five in the first quarter. The girls fought through the slow start and played really well starting in the 2nd quarter. Unfortunately, the deficit was too much to overcome with the final score being 49-26. In the 2nd game against Northfield, the girls outscored the opponent in each quarter leading to a 32-18 victory. The girls are getting better at moving the ball on offense and finding space on the floor.
