In a makeup game, the 8th grade Lady Squires played Lewis Cass on our home floor tonight. The girls found themselves down by one point at the end of the 1st quarter, but outscored Cass in the 2nd quarter to hold a three point lead at halftime. The girls came out strong in the 3rd pouring in 14 points fueled by great defensive pressure and swift ball movement on offense. The 4th quarter was low scoring but the Lady Squires won the conference game by a final score of 35-27. Scoring for the Squires: Brynna Harshman - 7 Kerrington Hearn - 8 Lyra Spangle - 2 Delaney Harshman - 10 Lizzie Baker - 2 Kendall Lauer - 6 The Lady Squires improved their record to 12-3 with the victory. They play another home game against Tippy Valley Wednesday night. Go Squires!
