Shock Commits to Bluffton

Samantha Shock has committed to Bluffton University (OH) to continue her athletic and academic career. Samantha will play soccer for the Beavers (NCAA III) as well as pursue a double major in psychology and history with a minor in political science. She participated in many activities for the Squires: Varsity Soccer (4 years), Soccer Team Captain (1 year), Varsity Track (1 year), Varsity Track Team Captain (1 year), Varsity Softball (2 years), National Honor Society (3 years), 4-H (10 year member), Senior Council Officer (2025-2026), Student Council Class Vice President (School Years: 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025), Spanish Club President (2023-2024, 2024-2025), Student Section Leader (2025-2026). Samantha also garnered many accolades during her time with the Squires: Freshman TRC Honorable Mention (Soccer), Varsity Starter (Soccer & Softball), Academic Excellence, FFA Quizbowl State Champion, Scholar Athlete, Greenhand FFA Degree Sophomore: TRC All Conference 1st Team (Athletics Soccer), Varsity Soccer (Soccer & Softball), Academic Excellence, FFA Quizbowl State Champion, Scholar Athlete, Chapter FFA Degree, Outstanding English Student Junior : TRC All Conference 1st Team (Soccer), TRC All Conference 1st Team (Academics), Varsity Starter (Soccer & Track), Academic Excellence, Scholar Athlete, State FFA Degree, Outstanding English Student, Rotary Mental Attitude Award (Track) Senior: TRC All Conference 1st Team (Soccer), TRC All Conference 1st Team (Academics), ANEC Player of the Week (Soccer), Elected Senior Officer Manchester Athletics wished Samantha the best of luck for her future endeavors.
