All students (next year's 6th grade - 12th grade) who wish to participate in athletics for the 2026-2027 school year need to have a physical on file before practice and competition can occur. Final Forms also need to be completed before competition can occur. Physicals need to be dated 4/1/26 or after. These physicals will then be good until May 31, 2027. Physicals (in the eyes of the IHSAA) are not good for a calendar year. Example: if you received a physical on 2/20/26 of this year - it is not good until 2/20/27. That physical will expire May 31, 2026. Any HS student athlete that wants to participate in summer workouts / competitions, you will need to have a physical completed and turned in by June 1, 2026.
