Squire Track team 7th overall at the Hoosier State Relays

The Squire Guys track team was impressive Saturday breaking 3 indoor records. Carson Heath picked up second in the 60 m hurdles breaking his own record for the third time with an 8.18. Team mates Holden Poston (8.79*) and Eli Metzger (8.94) picked up 18th and 21st. Korbin Presl reached the podium in the long jump with a leap of 21'5, again breaking his own indoor record for the third time. Presl and Heath also went 9th and 10th in the high jump at 6'2. The 4x200 team of Metzger, Poston, Heath, and Johny Miller posted a time of 1:35 for 12th place. In the last heat of the last event of the day the 4x4 team of Metzger, Poston, Heath, and Oliver Fitzpatrick put together a brilliant finish blazing to third place in a time of 3:26.68 smashing the former indoor record by 5 seconds. The guys had a great day and are looking forward to an even better outdoor season. The track team will face Southwood at home on Thursday, April 9th. Go Squires!
