Lady Squires Defeat Southwood

It was a beautiful night for a track meet and the Lady Squires chalked up a win against a tough Southwood team 69-50. Senior Peyton Ream led the team winning both the 100 m hurdles and the 300 m hurdles (50.5) with team mate Raimi Vawter winning both the 100m (12.89) and the 200 m (27.38). Ream and Vawter teamed up with Olivia Stevens and Ava Simcoe to win the 4x100 with a sizzling 51.28 Also scoring for the Squires: 100 m hurdles: 3rd Amara Everage 100 m: 2nd Simcoe 13.13 1600 m run: 2nd Romy Ilmer (6:58) 3rd Ashley Angle (7:16) 800 m: 3rd Lauryn Reichenbach 2:52 200 m: 2nd Simcoe 28.13 3200 m: 1st Emersyn Sarber 13:58 400 m: 1st Jocely Young 1:06.9 2nd Kaylee Fetters 1:07.2 3rd Sophie Cumberland 1:10.4 Discus: 1st Bronwyn Harris 94'6 3rd Cora Brown 74'6 Shot Put: 2nd Lesli Diaz 27'3 3rd Avery Adkins 23'10 Long Jump: 2nd Cumberland 13' 3rd Young 13' High Jump: 2nd Fetters 5' 3rd Everage 4'10 For the JV Myla Hayden won the 100m and Michaela Hinton placed first in the 200 m.
