Early Spark, Ongoing Growth for the Lady Squires The Manchester Squires showed plenty of fight on Monday, jumping out to an early lead and competing hard throughout the game against Churubusco. Manchester built momentum early, highlighted by a big triple from Renz in the first and a five-run second inning that put the Squires up 6–2. Offensively, Manchester had strong performances up and down the lineup. Renz went 3-for-4 to pace the attack, while Egolf delivered a big day at the plate with two hits and three RBIs. West also added multiple hits as the Squires continued to apply pressure. The energy, effort, and flashes of execution were there as this group continues to grow together. The Lady Squires open conference play tomorrow evening at Maconaquah, ready to build on the positives and keep moving forward.
