The Manchester Lady Squires put together another strong performance, defeating the Lady Vikings 8-1 at home. Manchester came out firing from the opening whistle, finding the back of the net quickly and setting the tone for the night. The Squires did a great job possessing the ball and working together across the field. Their passing was sharp as they connected with one another, sent dangerous crosses into the box, and created numerous quality looks at goal throughout the match. The offense was led by Aeryn Klose, who finished an impressive night with four goals and three assists. Ava Sautter added two goals and two assists, while Allie Egolf and Rachel Eberly each found the back of the net to round out the scoring. On the other end of the field, Manchester's defense put together another strong performance, limiting the Lady Vikings' opportunities and doing a great job controlling play out of the back. Valley was able to capitalize on a communication error for its lone goal of the night. It was an all-around team effort for Manchester, with players connecting passes, making runs, creating opportunities for one another, and playing unselfish soccer. The Lady Squires' ability to possess the ball and work together continues to be a strength as they earn another convincing 8-1 victory!
