Lady Squires Dominate in 5-0 Victory Over Valley

By Jen Birch | Sep 15, 2025 8:35 PM

The Manchester Lady Squires put on a dominant performance shutting out Tipp Valley 5-0. The scoring opened early as Ava Sautter found the back of the net just minutes into the game, finishing a beautiful drop pass from Olivia Stevens. The momentum continued when Lily Sare converted another well-placed drop, this time from Allie Egolf, to double the lead. Samantha Shock added an unassisted goal before the half, giving Manchester a commanding 3-0 advantage at the break. In the second half, Sautter struck again, this time off an assist from Shock, and later completed her hat trick with a perfectly taken penalty kick. The Lady Squires' defense was just as impressive. The back line of Brooklynn Grimes, Maggie Onderko-White, Chase Blevins, Olivia Stevens, and Ane Hasund completely shut down Valley’s attack, keeping their opponents off the scoreboard and controlling possession with poise. Goalkeepers Shiann Owens and Cora Brown contributed key saves, two and one respectively, to secure the clean sheet. Manchester saw several additional scoring opportunities from Raimi Vawter, Ely Mobley, Jocelyn Young, and Joanna Eberly, keeping pressure on Valley's defense all night. In the midfield, Elin Betten, Samantha Shock, and Allie Egolf did a great job controlling the tempo and distributing the ball.
